Well, I guess I have to retract that.  filmdint certainly does a very
good job, producing bit-for-bit identical output as the input, when the
source is 60fps interlaced (using "filmdint=dint_thresh=256").  All the
others remove a significant number of fields from the output (detc,
ivtc, pullup).

I *was* seeing flickering when using filmdint to playback one video,
which disappeared when I swiched to detc.  I have no idea why that was
the case, but filmdint has been bit-for-bit perfect on a few hours
worth of material from several different videos, so it seems it wasn't
to blame.
