You could do this but:

1) You need at least 7MB/s for regular mpeg2 video.
2) You would need to setup NAS (network audio sound) and it does not
work well unless you have really high performance boxes.

In short, it is not worth it.

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone out there could tell me how
to send a shell command for mplayer on one computer
and have the mplayer window play on the other. I
assume the computers would have to be networked, and
that's not a proplem. I just need to know how to, I
guess, pipe it from one computer to the other.
