-fixed-vo should work.  (It works for me.)  Are the videos all the same resolution?  Have you tried it with vo_xv to narrow down the issue?

Hi,

All of my mpegs are 640x480x32.
In the man page, vo_xv seems like for X11 only.
I am using mplayer from console mode using svga library.

Please suggest.
