[MPlayer-users] what's the difference between these fonts

[Improving Improving]

i'm using arial-iso-8859-7 font, but seems this font cannot display western 
characters correctly, for example, é, â, ù......., i was wondering what 
advanced command line to type so that it could display western characters 
correctly.


other fonts like arial-iso-8859-1, arial-iso-8859-2 display western 
characters correctly, but i don't like their "blur: 2.0" and "outline: 2.0" 
style, any way to modify their "blur" and "outline" style, say, change 
"blur: 2.0" to "blur: 4.0", "outline: 2.0" to "outline: 1.0"
