[MPlayer-users] No audio in qtime (.mov) videos

Thanks for the quick reply Roberto.

Here's what I did:

1)  removed all files from my /usr/local/lib/codecs directory
2)  downloaded and decompressed 'all-20040916.tar.bz2' from the MPlayer
codec page
3)  copied the decompressed codecs into /usr/local/lib/codecs
4)  recompiled MPlayer

The results when executing MPlayer from the command line as posted below
produces exactly the same result.

As before, everything else that I have tested (including .avi files)
works perfectly.

I have one (to long to post) quicktime (.mov) video on my hard disk that
I remember playing successfully 8 months ago.  Now this video produces
the exact same results as posted below.  I have found one very old .mov
file that does play with audio.
