If I use mencoder to rip a movie using the sid option I get a movie where the 
subtitles are in the movie and can not be turned off, but it means I can 
watch the movie on my dvd player with those subtitles. Id I rip subtitles 
separately, is there a way to produce say an avi with the subtitles being 
part of the movie?
