Hi,

I have solved my problem,

in fact, mplayer didn't work since I changed my distribution (for Debian testing).

so I have installed Xfree 4.4.0 instead of default debian XFree 4.3.0...debian...version and now mplayer works !!

I suppose we have to activate framebuffer support or something like that in XFree so that mplayer works....

I believed it came from 2.6.5 kernel, I tried everything possible but mplayer didn't work at all ! so i don't know if it came from XFree version or XFree configuration but it came from XFree !
