Then perhaps you're using a vo driver that can't scale, such as
vo_x11? Seriously. If you're going to report a "bug" then you MUST
explain what you're doing when you see it. That means full command
lines, -v output, etc. Because obviously mplayer does aspect right for
all of the rest of us...
