[MPlayer-users] problem with path case

First off, this is from the latest mplayer debian packages. If you aren't
interested then simply don't read on. I have done a few searches and
haven't seen this mentioned before so hopefully it will be useful.

With that out of the way, on with the report.

Distro: Debian/unstable
kernel: 2.6.4
I've skipped most of the rest as it doesn't seem to be relevant to this bug

I have two directories in my home called
/home/grahame/clips/Stuff and
/home/grahame/clips/stuff

Notice the only difference is the case of the s in stuff. Now because this
is Linux they are both different directories (obvious I know :))

Now if I start up gmplayer and choose 'open file' from the menu and try to
browse the contents of /home/grahame/clips/Stuff (uppercase) what I
actually see in the file browser pane is the contents
of /home/grahame/clips/stuff (lowercase).

It seems to be more a problem with gmplayer than mplayer.

If you do require more information just ask.

Grahame
