[MPlayer-users] [newbie] pbs with autoaspect lavcopts option and matrox framebuffer

Hello

I've coded  a dvd  with mencoder with  autoaspect (see below  (**) the
whole command) and I have 2 questions :

1) With matrox g 400 frame buffer I can only see my video with -x <>
and -y <> option. For example I use the command :
mplayer  -vo mga -x  640 -y  360 film.avi  Without -x  -y I  can't see
anything (I have only the sound).

2) Some body told  me that film ripped with  autoaspect option are not
visible with divx Xvid compatible lounge dvd reader. Is it true ?
