[MPlayer-users] color ghost images

Hi,

when playing one particular AVI movie on a Matrox MGA-450 TV out I
get blue and yellow ghost images which are offset about 2 inches to
the left or right.

The movie is encoded with DivX3 Fast-Motion (4cc: DIV3)

On Windows using the ffdshow codec I can disable the YV12 output
mode and the video plays just fine.

I have not been able to find out how to achieve the same with
mplayer.

Has anybody got any hint for me - or a completely different
solution?
