[MPlayer-users] DTS: works with 2 channels only, and CDDA demuxer limitation

I wanted to try new feature, dts support. I recompiled latest cvs after
installing libdts 0.0.2, but for some reason it works only in stereo
mode only. Specifying -channels 6 doesn't help, mplayer detects and
playbacks only 2 channels. This is mplayer's problem, because "dtsdec"
which comes with libdts package correctly detects and playbacks all
channels. Well, maybe not 100% correctly, there are some rare glitches
in playback, but it's clearly library problem.

Also, mplayer doesn't detect dts in cdda mode. When ripping dts audio
disc with cdparanoia or any other tool (which knows nothing about dts, I
presume) mplayer correctly decodes resulting wav file with dts codec,
but mplayer cdda:// or cddb:// always playbacks file as audio. Seems
like cdda demuxer problem: mplayer can detect file format, but doesn't
even try.
With cdda:// "-rawaudio on:format=0x2001" helps, mplayer correctly
detects all other stream parameters and plays the music.
