[MPlayer-users] Unable to play VOBs using a directory as -dvd-device

Hello,

I was given a directory containing VOBs and IFOs.  I need to play it as 
a DVD to make use of the subtitles that the VOBs contain.  Simply 
playing the VOBs themselves results in no subtitles being displayed. 
When using the following command to play the dir as a DVD device:

mplayer -v dvd://1 -dvd-device <dir>

Mplayer seems to loop (or hang?) with this output:
