main error was something like

size_confirm mismatch!: 22611 28271
Error while parsing chunk header

these other errors are just side effects (can be ignored)

you should instead try this command because
File is not a valid media sample but a redirection playlist.

mplayer -playlist http://www.antfarm.co.za/clients/highveld/highveld_22.asx

if you are curious you could use wget to download the file to see.

also you would want to use the newest CVS code possible.
