[MPlayer-users] mplayer vs. mencoder - bug?

There are diffrencies between mplayer and mencoder
Is it bug or feature?

I can play the DVD with mplayer, and everything is fine:
mplayer dvd://1 -chapter 2-2 -vo null -ao null -frames 1
[...]
AC3: 5.1 (3f+2r+lfe)  48000 Hz  448,0 kbit/s


but mencoder says:
mencoder dvd://1 -chapter 2-2 -ovc copy -oac copy -o /dev/null -frames 1
[...]
AC3: 5.0 (3f+2r)  44100 Hz  80,0 kbit/s

and displays a lot of CRC errors.

Does anyone have similar problems?
