Who knows. Try it with -vo null (no video output). In this case the
difference between the CPU usage with null and xv video output should come
from the fact that xv use more system resources to produce video output. You
can even try -ao null (no audio output) both with and without -vo null, so
you can see system usage differnces caused by video and audio output
drivers. Or something similar ;)
