[MPlayer-users] does anyone use xv with a neomagic in a Toshiba?

Hi,

I tried it. I customized a knoppix distro to include mplayer. It comes
with XFree 4.3.0.

Like the docs said, xv for the Neomagic is included. I haven't compiled
the patch yet, but here are the results without:

xv does the _same_ thing as under 4.2.0 - the video stream is clipped,
no matter how I adjust the video window, full screen, etc.
Interestingly, if I use screenw and screenh, I can force the window
bigger, and force xv to scale larger, but it's cropped the same - I see
between 1/2 and 3/4 of the video. This is a shame, because what I do
see really shows the benefit of hardware assist...

VESA works now; though video out does not. Have you gotten video out to
work? What machine are you testing this on? The tecra 8000 has a video
out RCA jack.

Thanks,
