[MPlayer-users] can mplayer adress either multiple audio channels or multip. dxr3 boards simultaniously?

you could try a couple sblive cards but they have enjoy irqs... anyway i have 
an sblive value, 4channel soundcard. the driver puts the channels available 
to you like this.
/dev/dsp = all 4 channels (generally maps stereo from front to rear)
/dev/dsp0 = front channel
/dev/dsp1 = rear channel

im asuming you could just grab a few cards and point mplayer to the corect 
/dev/dsp device to get which output you want.

im not sure how other soundcards handle this however, and this is with the 
opensource OSS drivers for sblive, the ALSA drivers werent as simple afaik to 
do that.
