[MPlayer-users] Plugin Question

Does anyone know if the MPlayer Plugin needs the QuickTime codecs incorporated into MPlayer?  I was trying to test version 0.32 of the plugins and it doesn't load up the complete movie.  Usually, it takes only a few seconds, especially since I'm on ADSL.   If I do, I would like to know how to incorporate those, please.
