[MPlayer-users] Which codec is fast and good?

-vf pp=tn
should do similar things. But it's much faster.

By the way: What's the default threshold of tn? 1,2, or 3?

And does one of those two deinterlacing filters have an advantage over the 
-vf lavcdeint
-vf pp=fd

"Mplayer -vf help" says that the first one uses "libavcodec's 
deinterlacing filter" and "mplayer -pphelp" says that the second uses 
"ffmpeg deinterlacer". What's the difference?


The site www.sco.com is running Apache/1.3.14 (Unix) mod_ssl/2.7.1
