What MB chipset you guys got?  And are you running the VESA fb or Riva fb?

I'm running VESA fb here with nvidia X driver and can switch back and 
forth no problems.  My old SMP machine with a Virge card always locked 
up if i switched out of X and then back to it though...

Cool about Xv, i didn't know the opensource driver supported it.
