Hi,

I've just tested CVS mplayer a bit on a celeron2 500mhz (HP omnibook500 laptop)
with ati rage 3d (mach64) card. (X 4.2.0+latest GATOS ati.2 Xv)

The test file was StarWars EP 1 trailer: 720x576, 1800 kbit divx3
(full size, no black bands).

Directshow codec failed to play without drops (no -pp).
libavcodec's ffdivx codec played it very fast, with full postprocessing
(-pp 0x20077 -> deinterlace+deblock+dering) !

benchmark result: v: 53% vo: 29% idle: 24% :)

without postrocess, decoding (v:) is about 27% :)

last time (about 2 months ago) i've tried it was not fast enough for high
postprocess.

hey, who needs windows any more? :)
