OK, I have perhaps a better description of what is going wrong in the
picture. What it looks like is that every so many vertical lines, two
lines are swapped. So given an ascii-art picture of a circle (column
numbers at the top):

         111
123456789012
     ooo
   oo oo
  o o
 o o
 o o
 o o
  o o
   oo oo
     ooo

the output on the window is something more like:

         111
132456798012
     oo o
   oo o o
 o o
  o o
  o o
  o o
 o o
   oo o o
     oo o

Notice that colums 2 and 3 and 8 and 9 are swapped.

My previous message on this should be a pretty complete bug report. I
did a cvs update today and still the same problem. I have it on two
different machines, one with a Matrox and ATI Mach64 card in it and
another machine with a Radeon. Both the VESA and mga modes on the
Radeon exhibit this problem as well.

I hope you still have the sample mpeg file. If you look closely at
diagonal shapes with good color contrast you should hopefully see the
"ripples" I am talking about here.

If you want any more info, I would be most pleased to supply it.

Thanx,
b.
