[MPlayer-users] brightness

Hi!

I know, there's a brightness control for the directshow codecs in
mplayer, but I'm seeking a general solution (mpgs, svcds, etc.). My
desktop brightness is correct, but if I switch to fs mode (sdl, xv, dga,
etc.), the movie is a bit dark, the darker scenes can't be watched. Is
it possible with a parameter to correct only the fs brightness?
