The exact same thing happens here. I run a Mandrake system with linpng3 + 
libpng3-devel packages. As well as libpng2 runtime. The strange thing is that 
as far as I know there should be no libpng2 headers anywhere. 
I did some checking though, and see that clanlib comes with its own png 
headers, could it be mplayer picks up on these during compilation?
