[MPlayer-users] Jumpy AVIs when encoding from TV tuner

Just a thought but could it be tied to you using mjpeg encoding?  I've
noticed mjpeg writes to the disk more often than going straight to
mpeg4/mpeg3 encoding, perhaps you could try encoding with that too
see if you get the frame jumps.

Just a thought, encoding into divx4/5 works perfectly here on a
athlon 1.4g with ATI bttv card.
