Don't know why anyone should use a nvidia for a vdr. It is really crap to use 
them. They have terrible signal-quality and don't know if they can be used 
tv-out only. The Rage128 is in all I've heard the card to choose , because 
they are good for this purpose and cheap. The deluxe-version is of course the 
matrox, the tv-out I've heard should be very good, and for vdr nothing else 
is IMHO important (by the way, can you use a graphic-card as primary display 
for vdr ? ) The main problem is to get a matrox. All I could buy was a G550 
for a lot of bucks, tried to get a G200 or G400 with no result.
