yes, as i said earlier, _interlaced_ (not "interleaved" - actually every mpeg
files is interleaved) files won't work with 3-pass encoding, as teh
detection of fields requires decoding of mpeg, but the 1st pass of 3-pass
encoding doesn't even decode the video.
