[MPlayer-users] full disc doesn't stop mencoder

thanks to my genreal stupidity (i.e. not beaing able to read a 'df' output 
right...) i filled up a hard drive will encoding apocalypse now. when it 
happened mencoders estimated file size dropped to zero, but it just kept 
going anyway. surely it should abort...?

can i also suggest that the estimated filesize / time left be changed to 
be able to reflect where in a file the encoding started. it always assumes 
it starts at the beginning, to -ss 1234 will completely scrwe up the 
estimates...
