I don't agree on the:

I had a Radeon 64 mb ddr, I sold it bought a Nvidia Geforce 2 pro to
play games in linux. Sorry guys but the radeons performance in linux is
just not good enough right now.

Anyway my conclusion was that:

windows->ati
linux & windows->nvidia,matrox,3dfx
