[Mplayer-users] performance low when using svgalib?

Hi,

I've recognized a big performance loss when plaing DVDs with the svga output 
without any X running. In fact the movie is playing well but sound is out of 
sync 5-10 seconds or so (can't fix it with -/+)
I do not have this problem with divx films or other AVIs, althoug mplayer 
here also complains about "Your System is to slow"
TBird 1Ghz, 768Mb, GF2 GTS (1.0.1512 drivers) XFree 4.0.3,
Mandrake 8.0 glibc 2.2

hmm.. svgalib uses a Geforce NV10 driver, is this the newest one suitable for 
GF2 Nv15?
