[Mplayer-users] Crusoe & CT 69000 video chip with XVideo

Hi Arpi & guys,

(continuing with my saga about Crusoe 400MHz and mplayer...;)

What happened last: I dumped fbdev and decided to try -vo x11 with XVideo
extension to see whether the 400MHz Crusoe is ultimately fast enough for
MPEG2 decoding.

Ok, I have now installed XFree86 4.0.3 into the Crusoe board (after having
a small adventure with 4.1.0 only to discover that its chips-driver (for my
C&T 69000) is broken...) and the XVideo extension is enabled, and it does
support YV12 planar and YU2 packed as mentioned in the FAQ. (YEAH, I HAVE
RTFM...;)

I assume that chips-driver supports XVideo extension because
README.chips-file from XFree 4.0.2 says:
"Supports YUV colour space conversion with the XVideo extension". Version
4.0.3 seems to be just a patch from 4.0.2, so I assume that it hasn't lost
the XVideo capability from the chips-driver.

Ok, when I run mplayer with '-vo x11', it works ok, although about as slow
as with fbdev, so I guess that the XVideo-accelaration stuff isn't active.

However, when I run mplayer with '-vo xv', I get this kind of output:

Any ideas, as to what might be the problem???
