-vo x11 uses simple RGB image,s not Xv with yuv. use -vo xv!

are you root? maybe driver requires it.
try a movie which width is divisable by 32.
it's a limitation of some cards.
i've seen such error with 3dfx cards with old driver, but
teh driver was fixed already.
