You were right! Thanks for the hint. But I have onather problem:
configuration script didn'r finish well. These are last mesages I got:

ar r libvo.a aspect.o aclib.o osd.o font_load.o yuv2rgb.o video_out.o
vo_null.o vo_pgm.o vo_md5.o vo_mpegpes.o vo_odivx.o x11_common.o vo_x11.o
make[1]: ar: Command not found
make[1]: *** [libvo.a] Error 127
make[1]: Leaving directory `/data/tomek/MPlayer-20011010/libvo'
make: *** [libvo/libvo.a] Error 2

I tried to run 'make install', but I again got the same messages. Should I
install any patch/package? I have full listing of all messages displayed
during runing configuration script - if it's needed for tracking the problem
I can include it in my next mail. Regards
