[mplayer] Certain AVI files are not supported

Hello MPlayer Team,

Glad you're on Sourceforge now. I do like the cvs accessibility!

I'm writing in because some avi's I have don't seem to be supported. I
am using CVS source that I downloaded and compiled on 03-28-2001.
I will upload them to your ftp site in /incoming/MPlayer.

They are:

gates crash.avi
fpig.avi

I have attached log files of the output when attempting to play them,
and here are some stats about my system.
