[MPlayer-users] Mencoder and sound sample rate

Hi,
I tested many divx encoders and finally I choose mencoder which provides to 
me the best quality and the more options (especially resizing, which works 
great).
But I have just few questions (I RTFM and the mailing list before...). 
My first question is quite simple : is it possible to add a parameter to 
specify the sample rate when using mp3lame, because when I encode from a VOB 
file, I always have 48kHz, and I would prefer to have 44,1kHz.
Also, what is the status of the feature for calculating the bit rate ? I saw 
that it was planned.
