This should work for the first feature. Some DVD's have more features
(not right name but can't think of it now)

Are these seek errors? io errors?

Is it not available without RSJ?

My last DVD player never did work with MPlayer on OS/2 and Linux. After
it died and I replaced it then DVD playing worked fine besides waiting
a few minutes while the copy protection is cracked.
One workaround I found was using dvdao to rip an ISO from the dvd then
pointing MPlayer at that file, eg MPlayer j:/tmp/dvd.iso
You might need dvdcss.dll to go with dvdao, let me know and I can send
it privately
