I did this. The /dev/dvb/ stuff is there and works. I can use the DVB card 
with vdr and some plugins, so this is fine.

This might be a help out. My DVB source is located in /usr/src/kernel/DVB/
Just my way of doing. I'll change it for recompiling mplayer...
