[Mplayer-dvb] Intel compiler

Hi,

has anyone ever tried to compile mplayer with the Intel C++ compiler? 
Sometimes one reads real miracles about it - maybe it would help the ones 
of us with slower systems that don't really allow playback through the DVB 
card...like myself with my 866 MHz P III.

I tried it a little bit, however I'm not a programmer and don't really know 
how to fiddle around with all the options and make files.

Well? Anyone?  :-)
