No, I don't intend to remove more than those two pages for now. But as
you noticed the other sections are also badly in need of updates. Some
of that stuff may get removed then, but it's an entirely separate issue.

Yes, all of this needs to be rewritten/condensed.
On balance the XML docs are in a state of neglect :(
