I don't really think the new form is good either, but it is still better
than the earlier form. If someone (possibly Diego once he gets back from
this apparent hiatus) comes up with an alternative phrasing I'll be glad
to see it, but for the time being I'll just go with this one.

As it happens, I don't see anything that actually needs fixing there.
There is one niggly bit - it isn't clear in the example exactly *why*
the audio format tag will be incorrect (simply because the new container
is not the same as the old?) - but it isn't major and I don't know the
technical side of this well enough to be sure of how to rephrase it
while still being accurate.
Commit goes through momentarily.
