I actually use a lot more compiler warning options for the GUI code to get
every possible information on things the compiler and I might disagree about.

The GUI compiles free of any warnings, and I prefer any code to compile this
way. Together with silent compiling (which I tried to get a patch accepted
for two times, but are using privately) any new issue can very easily be
spotted.

With code that still prints warnings, new warnings that might be serious will
often be overlooked. With less compiler warning options you do not even have
a chance to discover possible issues.
