Maybe with a few minutes of handjob (not that type) and it should work.
Seeing the discussions surrounding its removal, some breakage may have been
caused by this code for NTSD DVDs. Quite surprising because this code should
be totally harmless, but in any case, surrounding it with an "if codec ==
H264" should be more than enough to restrain its operation. And then everyone
is happy (including me).
