I didn't yet reinstall, but managed to compile libcdio with MinGW32 and made
the packages from artfiles.org run with Cygwin.

Both the MinGW port and the Cygwin port (r34481) crash my Windows when
starting audio CD playback. As even mplayer.exe cdda://1 does crash, I'm
wondering whether this a general problem with my Windows (98SE) or with
libcdio and mplayer/Win.

Does anyone use mplayer with Windows and libcdio (with or without GUI)?
