But it happens very seldom and always with a very good reason.
So far, none of the reasons brought forth are good, neither
to keep codecs.conf loading as it is, neither to ignore it.

And no, user/packager stupidity is not a valid reason IMHO.

So, unless there is really a very good reason why we should
change the behaviour of MPlayer, we simply should not change it.
