Although we should try to make mplayer dwimy, i don't
think that this patch should go in. I somewhat agree with
Roberto that we should not workaround user stupidity,
but at the same time we shouldn't make it too simple
to be stupid. Maybe it would be a better idea to
print a warning that an external codecs.conf has been
loaded instead of disabling it by default.
