Minor complaint...  MPlayer doesn't print out anything when you use
this function, so you can only guess what frequency you're currently on.
 
A simple MP_MSG,  "Selected frequency: 100.05" or similar would be a big
improvement.

Otherwise, the patch (v2) seems to work fine.
