[MPlayer-dev-eng] pre8 again

Hi all

Let's try it again: what about releasing pre8? this weekend? the next
one? Wait for svn to settle (we have quite a long patch queue) or kick
it out before some new code breaks it again?

If you have important safe patches that should be in pre8 please commit
them soon, so they can get a few days of testing.

If you have trivial harmless patches commit them too.

Doc writers and translators please check for all cvs references,
instructions and such and replace them with the corresponding
subversion commands.
