Seems that I have spoken up too fast. I now have a stream that still
shows up approx. -100ms of audio delay (that is, audio is too early),
just as before. This happens in both media player classic on windows as
on mplayer on linux w/ xv+oss drivers, so it seems valid to me. The
original stream is working correctly.

xine actually shows approx. -240ms of audio delay, which seems strange
to me, so this player has appearantly other additional problems.

I have to stabilize this and come up with a as small as possible and as
reproducable as possible test, and will then post this here.
