I guess you are meaning the `powernowd` that is using Cool&Quiet or
SpeedStep technolog to change CPU frequency and voltage at runtime.

I'm talking about /proc/acpi/processor/CPU1/throttling. At least on
athlon64 and MB i am now, it is not supported.
